Lets have a look at the three promoted sides for the 2020-21 Premier League Season
LEEDS UNITED
Leeds make a top flight return after 16 long years, a chunk of the major credit which must go to their tactically sound coach, Marcelo Bielsa. What’s surprising, he did this in only second season of his charge after just missing out in the previous season owing to poor performances at the end of the campaign. Not many coaches in the current football fraternity can match his ethics and he stands by what he demands from his players even when it seems will be harmful for the team. For example, in a match against Aston Villa, after his team scored a goal, their rivals complained that they had a player down and argued the goal shouldn’t have counted but the referee turned a deaf ear to their claims. Biesla however wasn't hesitant and instructed his players to let Villa players score a goal and Villa scored without any second thoughts. He was also accused by the then Derby County manager, Lampard of spying. With Spain international, Rodrigo coming into the fray, it will be fascinating to watch how Leeds will fare in the Premier League with their unconventional mastermind, Bielsa.
WEST BROMWICH ALBION
West Brom are back in the Premier League after spending two seasons on the championship. Their star man Matheus Pereira bagged 8 goals and 20 assists. Being named the Bundesliga’s rookie of the year last term with Nuremberg, he has exquisite ball control and is great with assists and never hesitates to have a go at the goal himself. Their skipper, Jake Livermore is yet another player who has been pivotal for their success and his influence on the team is unmatched and leads by example. Not just that, their winger Grady Diangana, Semi Ajayi and Han Robsun Kanu all grabbed headlines throughout the campaign. Backed by Slaven Bilic, who famously led West Ham United to seventh place in 2015-16 season, he surely has an idea or two about the English top flight.
FULHAM
Fulham spent heavily when they earned promotion in the Premier League two years back buying the likes of German world cupper Andre Schurrle, Jean Michael Seri to name a few only to go down relegated later in the season. Things didn’t click last time around and Scott Parker, their manager seems confident to turn things around this time. With their star striker, Aleksander Mitrovic in top form all season, they were able to grab goals when needed the most. Their left back Joe Bryan score the all important two goals in extra time in the playoffs which secured their promotion at the cost of Brentford, who have not featured in the top flight since 1947. Well now, it remains to be seen if Fulham can duplicate their success in the Premier League.
