EMI MARTINEZ
Brilliantly deputised for the injured Bernd Leno at Arsenal for the latter half of last season. Commanding displays in the FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs earned him interest from a number of premier league clubs. Already saving a penalty which proved to be decisive in Aston Villa's 1-0 win over Sheffield, the €20m deal seems amazing in today's market.

Laporte's CB partner to be, the 6'2" tall defender has been decent with the portugal national team and played over 100 games for Benfica. Regarded as a ball playing centre back, Man City did some good business bringing in both Ake and Dias in the same window to solve their back line woes.
ACHRAF HAKIMI
The pack wing back who can play on both sides lit up the flanks at dortmund and it was rather surprising why Madrid didn't try to hold on to him as he definitely looks promising to become one of the best full backs in the future. Technically adept, can play accurate passes from defense, he will provide a new dimension to Antonio Conte's side.
SERGIO REGUILON
Another full back surplus to Real Madrid's requirements, he is as solid in defense as he is in attack. He impressed heavily in Sevilla's Europa League winning campaign last term, attracting suitors everywhere. Works tirelessly on the left flank, and has already provided a couple of assists for his new club.

THOMAS PARTEY
Arsenal have brought in a player who will transform the whole team, and not just the midfield. With Lucas Torreira going in the other direction to Atletico, Arsenal have got their hands on an absolute engine. Powerful presence, great distribution and total box to box midfielder, Partey is a beast.
THIAGO ALCANTARA
Still can't fathom how probably one of the best midfielders in the world right now, and a treble winner last term, was sold for a meagre €30 M. He is the definition of class, and the way he curves his passes to his teammates' feet is soothing to the eye. Liverpool have finally got the world beating playmaker they required.
JAMES RODRIGUEZ
Probably the best signing of the season, James has taken the Premier League by storm. He is displaying the elegance and magnificence he showed in the 2014 World Cup which forced Real to bring him in. His vision and outrageous range of passing, with some sumptuous goals to go alongside, make him the core of the team which has won all its games in the season till now. A pure magician.
KAI HAVERTZ
Chelsea went all out this time, bringing in a truck load of great players. The €72m wonder kid has already scored a Hattrick for The Blues, and is already starting to function as a well oiled machine with the team. His versatility, trickery and magical feet tout him to be one of the best in the near future.

LEROY SANE
The speed demon has arrived in Munich and inherited Robben's #10 shirt. Blink and you'll miss him. His pairing with fellow winger Gnabry and Lewadowski upfront will make any defense in the world tremble in fear. He already scored on his debut in the 8-0 drubbing of Schalke, and looked ever so dangerous on the right flank. Watch out, Bundesliga.
TIMO WERNER
RB Leipzig's main man for some time, the goalscoring forward has been Oh so very lively for Chelsea and got his first goal as well. Abraham and Giroud were not consistent last season, but it seems Chelsea have found their ideal forward for years to come. He is so good and pack on and off the ball that often you just can't take your eyes off him.
LUIS SUAREZ
A Barça legend, almost kicked out of the club in the most disgraceful manner, might be a blessing in disguise for Atletico. With Morata leaving for Juve on loan, Suarez, even though a little old, is a major upgrade. He's still got it, the hunger, the lethal poacher in front of goal is still alive and brimming to pounce. His debut has glittering, where he notched up 2 goals and a assist in a mere 26 minutes. Will Barça be bitten by karma? We'll have to wait and see.
