Messi Stays!

 

Messi Stays at Barcelona for atleast another season. Great news Barca fans, isn’t it. We can agree that Messi is the least of Barcelona’s problems. Taking all those goals and assists from this Barcelona team will arguably make Barcelona a mid table club, if they keep performing the way they have been. 


Retaining Messi is a big job done. Now the biggest question is whether he will be motivated enough to perform at the level he has been for ages now. Messi has said that he didn’t want to take the club which made him to court and hence he is staying. In all probability, if the global pandemic didn’t happen and matches continued as stated with the results being the same, Messi would have left in July for free. 



Now Barcelona have to help themselves by strengthening their squad in a few areas. With the kind of youth coming through, the attack and midfield is sorted. The main problem is their defence. They, arguably, need a whole new back four. A backup to Jordi Alba, someone to replace Pique, a competent enough Centre Back who can fight for the other Centre back position with Lenglet and a rightback. 


They just have to sign players. Its high time now. Barcelona need a plan and for that they need to buy players.

Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, one of the oldest clubs in Asia in the space of a calendar year, transformed subpar performances and doubt into victory and jubilation. History of the FA Community Shield

  Now that there are now not many games round the corner, we decided to take a glimpse at the history of the Community Shield. The Community Shield is played between the winners of the Premier League and the winners of the FA cup of the previous season and marks the first trophy of the long season that is to be played ahead.  Well if both are triumphed by a single club, the runner up in the Premier League happens to be the opposition.
