UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: 2020-21

It's already been two months since that famous night in Lisbon where Bayern conquered their 2nd treble equalling the record of Barcelona in the process of highest number of trebles.

Now, the group stages has some mouth watering fixtures, the most notable being PSG v/s Man U. After that embarrassing night in Paris where the French outfit lost to a young Man U team even after having a healthy lead in the first leg, PSG have come a long way and were only second to Bayern Munich last time around. PSG have a strong team and their only main concern would be their defence after their long serving captain played his last match in the UCL final. Their forward and midfield line do not have much change and will look forward to carry on the form that they displayed last time around. On the other hand United have plenty of problems from their defence to attack. Their uninspiring captain Maguire has led them down more than once with the attackers struggling to be among goals but yes penalties have given them hope in recent times. PSG should be a clear winner unless someone from United performs big and rumour has it that Bruno will captain the side going into the fixture. So let’s see if Bruno gives some inspiration to this side of Manchester or PSG have a cakewalk.

Talking about other games, Chelsea v/s. Sevilla promises to be entertaining and it will not be easy for the London side despite having one of the most lethal attacks in Europe. Their defence has let them down many a time and Sevilla perfectly know how to capitalise in big games. Will Chelsea show they have arrived to compete in the big leagues or the Europa League giants will have the last laugh, let’s see.  Ciro Immobile faces his former side in Borussia Dortmund. Both have very good attacking prowess and it's expected to be a high goal affair.

Barcelona play against UCL first timers Ferencvaros and more than the result fans will be glued to the style of play Koeman employs with the resources he has at his disposal. Knowing he has a crunch fixtures ahead against Real Madrid and Juventus, Koeman will be desperate to strike the perfect chords as soon as possible. Juventus will be without their star forward, Ronaldo but are expected to win against Dynamo Kyiv. They will just hope that the Portugese recovers before the game against Barcelona and so  do the fans because who doesn’t want to see the best playing against each other. We are in for a treat.

Chelsea VS Liverpool: Preview

Chelsea and Liverpool will lock horns on Sunday in Matchday 2 of the Premier League. The last time these teams met was not very long ago when Liverpool lifted the Premier League title at Anfield winning by 5 goals to 3 in an end to end thriller.

Barcelona V/S Napoli : Preview

With the dishonour of going trophyless for the first time since 2007-08 looming large, winning the UCL after 5 years will easily rub off the pain of not winning the La liga and their below par performances during the later stages of the competition, over the years. Having said that, the task on hand is no piece of cake as they face a stubborn Napoli side, inspired by Gennaro Gattuso who can outrival any side on their day. Their strike force is deadly to say the least. Insigne, Mertens, Lozano, Milik, Callejon, Politano can wreck havoc across defences, more so when Barca has a very poor record defensively of late. Napoli  had the most possession(59%) and the most passes in the Serie A, were the Coppa Italia champions and they were the unbeaten team in their group despite being on the same pool with defending champions, Liverpool.  Players missing out- FC Barcelona Missing out influential midfielder, Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal through suspension will be a cause of headache for Set
